From here.
For the road ahead.
Vostra is a locally owned Jamaican business, built around the people who ride and the people who drive.
Vostra means “yours.”
That idea is at the heart of the business: a ride-hailing service shaped around local riders and drivers.
Our focus is Jamaica. We are preparing a platform that connects riders with screened local drivers and eligible vehicles, rather than operating a company-owned fleet.
Local roots. Clear plans.
Vostra is preparing to work with PPV-licensed drivers using red-plate vehicles. We want riders to understand their fare estimate before requesting a trip and to know who is picking them up.
Our first launch areas are Kingston, St. Andrew, St. Catherine, St. Ann and St. Thomas. The apps and driver signup are coming soon.
